Police Report 10-22-13 - A woman said $100 was stolen from a vehicle

Carl Roberson, 49, Simpsontown Road, Newington — begging/soliciting.
Steven Alexander Cox, 23, Harvey Drive — wanted person.
Chace Lamond Mayner, 27, Ralph Street, Claxton — marijuana possession.

STAMBUK LANE — A woman said $100 was stolen from a vehicle. Another person reported a cellphone stolen.
SOUTH MAIN STREET — A woman struck a man because he didn’t like her moving in with his girlfriend.
THE FORUM — Officers cleared a large crowd from an apparent party at one apartment. Complex safety officers said the incident has been a recurring event.
WALMART — Someone shoplifted 11 cases of beer. No arrests were made at the time.
JOHNSON STREET — Officers responded to the report of an argument between two women over who should be in the house.
ROBIN HOOD TRAIL — Cash and cigarettes were taken from a vehicle.

Troopers issued one seat belt citation, 53 speeding citations, one child restraint citation and 62 total citations Friday through Sunday.

Troopers investigated 15 crashes with   six reported injuries; stopped 138 vehicles; patrolled 1,232  miles; issued   11 seat belt warnings,  71 speeding warnings and 11 total warnings; assisted no motorists and performed no security details Friday through Sunday.

Officers issued 14 traffic citations Friday, through Sunday.
Samuel Jabari Jones, 19, Lanier Drive — false imprisonment and burglary.
Andre DeWaine Collins III, 19, Georgia Avenue — underage possession of alcohol false ID and public indecency. 
Joey Antonio Abrams, 32, Chandler Road — theft by taking.
Jamal Marquis Phillips, 18, Chandler Road — underage possession of alcohol. 
Malik Hakeem Robinson, 19, Knight Drive — failure to obey a traffic control device and possession of a weapon in a school safety zone.

Officers issued 30 traffic warnings and assisted 11 motorists Friday through Sunday.
UNIVERSITY PLAZA — Officers assisted the Statesboro Police Department with the report of a stolen purse.
CHICK-FIL-A, OASIS, TALONS GRILL — An incident report was taken for a financial transaction card fraud that occurred at these businesses. This case was assigned to criminal investigations.
RETRIEVERS — Officers discovered an intoxicated person on the sidewalk. The intoxicated person was arrested.
FREEDOM’S LANDING — Officers responded to a drug complaint. Four occupants were judicially referred to school officials for discipline.
SOUTHERN PINES — Officers responded to an intoxicated subject kicking the door. The intoxicated subject was arrested.
EAGLE VILLAGE — Officers responded in reference to alcohol violations. Ten occupants were judicially referred in lieu of arrest, and university officials will determine disciplinary action.
J-LOT — Officers responded in reference to a fight. One was arrested.
