Statesboro Police Department

JOHNSON STREET/BUTLER HOMES - A man with a possible broken arm and other visible injuries said he was jumped by five men who also fired a shot at him.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Office
TEAL CIRCLE - A man noticed his car's interior lights on and went outside to find the vehicle had been entered. Nothing had been taken.
HAGAN LANE - A man asked for a report to be made because he struck a raccoon and caused damage to his vehicle.
GABBIES RUN - A man reported the theft of a mail-delivered package.
HERSCHEL DRIVE - A man reported a Beretta shotgun stolen from his vehicle.
DRY BRANCH VILLAGE - A woman said her juvenile daughter had been touched inappropriately on her buttocks by a male neighbor. The case is being investigated.
CLEARY ROAD - A man whose father was arrested Jan. 3 reported someone burglarized his father's house, taking 14 firearms and a trail cam card reader.
HIGHWAY 119 - A stolen Bobcat UTV was found abandoned. Deputies had received a call earlier from a man who said his son, either drunk or on drugs, called and threatened to come beat him, and was known to be driving a Bobcat vehicle he claimed he stole. Effingham County Sheriff's Department personnel confirmed there had been the theft of such a vehicle.
TWIN FORKS ROAD - A man accused another man of shooting and killing one of his ducks, although he had not seen the man do so, nor had he found a dead duck. The accused man denied ever seeing the duck.
