Arrests
    Charles Andrew Knight, 27, Howell Avenue, Charleston, S.C. — probation violation.
    John Curtis Coleman, 33, Madison Meadows — theft by shoplifting, giving false information.
    Stephen Michael Burnsed, 19, Herons Walk — probation violation.

Incidents
    CORE CREDIT UNION — (Brampton Avenue) A woman said someone made several unauthorized withdrawals of $20 from her account at the ATM.
    THE GROVE APARTMENTS — A woman reported her roommate to management for smoking marijuana. Afterward, the roommate threatened her with bodily harm.
    KMART — A man was arrested for stealing deodorant and Reese’s candy.
    EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER — A man said a patient struck him on the top of the head.
    DAYS INN — (Fair Road) Someone damaged a soda vending machine and stole $100.
    MATTHEWS ROAD — Several rolls of wire and cable were stolen from an AT&T tower.
    MORRIS HEIGHTS — A woman said another jumped on her and pinned her to the ground while striking her several times.

    Raymond John Braddy, 18, Hawk’s Ridge Drive — statutory rape, interference with custody, carrying a firearm without a license, criminal trespass, contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
    Duane Lavern Deal, 50, Mill Creek Estates — theft of metal, criminal trespass, probation violation.
    Cassandra Lynn Huggins, 30, Mill Creek Estates — theft of metal, criminal trespass.
    Derrick Duwayne Powell, 44, Groover Lane — DUI, defective equipment.
    Michael Eugene Powell, 40, U.S. Highway 80 East, Brooklet — probation violation, child support lockup (failure to pay).
    Edward Dewayne Cox, 40, Chance’s Mobile Home Park — child support lockup (failure to pay).
    Terry Towand Golden, 35, Cedarwood Acres Mobile Home Park - child support lockup (failure to pay).
    Kristen Victoria Nesmith, 21, East Lee Street, Brooklet — theft by shoplifting.
    Ashley Kaye Noles, 22, Mount Olive Church Road, Fleming — fourth- degree forgery, burglary.

    SOUTHERN PINES — Police responded to a report of harassment and turned the case over to investigators.  
    EAGLE VILLAGE — A fire alarm sounded after a student cooked and caused smoke to activate the sensor.
