Statesboro Police Arrests

Jonathan Lance Barber, 23, Garden District Apartments – following too closely, driving with a suspended license.

Jordan Walter Airich, 20, Lanier Drive – theft by shoplifting, underage possession of alcohol.

Arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Statesboro Police Incidents

 

THE EXCHANGE APARTMENT – A man aid he saw his ex girlfriend, who had struck him previously break a liquor bottle over his car.

HARVEY’S/FAIR ROAD – A man was arrested after a store employee saw him conceal two bottles of beer and a bottle of chicken seasoning in his pockets.

MAIN STREET BILLIARDS – Someone stole several rifles form a truck behind the building, but they left one.

Incidents occurring Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

 

 

Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents

BILL FUTCH ROAD – (Ellabell) A man reported the theft of several pieces of equipment and metal.

CODY LANE – (Brooklet) A man told deputies he saw people taking car parts from the woods. The suspects told deputies they were helping a man get items he owned and they sold the metal parts for $40 at Stubbs Metals.

Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter Reports

The shelter reported the following activity during the week of Jan. 17-23.

Surrendered by citizens from county – 10 dogs, three cats.

Surrendered by citizens from Statesboro city limits – four dogs, eight cats.

Collected from rural county areas by Humane Enforcement – 15 dogs, no cats.

Collected from city of Statesboro by Humane Enforcement – two dogs, no cats.

Euthanized at shelter – 14 dogs, for cats.

Adopted from shelter – five dogs, no cats.

Returned to owners – two dogs, no cats.

Died at shelter – one dog.

Humane Enforcement activity  - 11 warnings.

Fees collected - $342.
