STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
    Chkaia Renee Howard, 25, Egret Place — no proof of insurance, second-offense suspended license, suspended registration.
    Ismael Mendoza-Hernandez, 25, Walnut Street, Millen — driving while unlicensed, tail light violation.
    Donnie Anastus Gay III, 26, Mossburg Court — obstruction.
    James Davis Jr., 46, Norwood Drive — wanted person, public intoxication, disorderly conduct, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, criminal trespass.
    Steve Evans, 48, South College Street — disorderly conduct, obstruction.
    Jose Martinez, 32, Chances Trailer Park — driving while unlicensed, defective headlights.
    Isaac Johnny Gerido, 45, Jones Mill Road — simple assault, obstruction.
    Saul Ixba, 31, Lanier Drive — battery, driving without a license, DUI, criminal trespass.

Incidents
    MULBERRY COURT — A man and woman argued over his actions regarding another female.
    SUCCESS COURT — A man said a woman pushed him and made him fall, causing back injuries. The woman told police he grabbed her by the neck.
    UNIVERSITY PLACE — Someone stole a TV.
    FRANKLIN CHEVROLET — A confrontation occurred, and one man shoved another.
    EAST MAIN STREET — A man accused a female roommate of stealing $150 from his wallet, but she denied it.
    ROBIN HOOD TRAIL — Several apartments were apparently entered. Some victims reported nothing missing while others listed various items, mainly electronics, stolen.
    GATE/SOUTH MAIN — A man was arrested after throwing things at a clerk and causing a disturbance in the parking lot.
    WENDY’S — A man said he suffered several injuries after slipping on grease inside the building. He was treated at the hospital.
    EAST JONES AVENUE — A man reported the theft of several power tools and other tools from a job site.
    PAWN CITY — A man pawned an item that belonged to Rentown.
    GARDEN DISTRICT APARTMENTS — Someone stole a blue 1994 Chevrolet Caprice.
    NORTH MAIN STREET — A woman told police she received text messages, picture messages, and phone calls from one listed and one restricted number but the same individual. The messages have been occurring since she started working at her place of employment and have become worse and more frequent, she said.
    LADD CIRCLE — A woman called police when two others engaged in an argument.

Incidents
    PIKE ROAD — (Clito) A TV, laptop computer, TV/DVD player combo, Xbox and related games; shoes, jewelry, DVD and clothing were stolen.
    WEST WATERS ROAD — (Clito) A woman said a man who smelled of alcohol and she suspected was on drugs bothered her by knocking on her door asking for things. When asked to leave he continued wandering around the property for some time before doing so, she said.
    CEDARWOOD ACRES MOBILE HOMES — (Register) A woman said a man threw a cigarette on her. Her son told deputies the man choked her on previous occasions. The offender left when he knew law enforcement was coming, and deputies advised the woman of safety options.
    BRADLEY ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman reported the theft of a lawnmower.
    OAKFIELD DRIVE — (Statesboro) A woman said someone stole two packages delivered by UPS.
    G.W. OLIVER ROAD — (Nevils) A woman reported sheet tin and a Dodge radiator stolen.
    BOHLER-RIMES ROAD — (Statesboro) A deputy stopped to check on a suspicious vehicle and the driver fled into the woods, taking off clothing to disguise his identity. The maroon Pontiac Catalina was towed and the driver unfound.
    U.S. HIGHWAY 80 EAST — (Brooklet) A man reported a gun rack, tripod, flood lamp, gaming horseshoes, tools, and a clock were stolen.

Arrests
    Officers issued seven traffic citations Tuesday.
 
Incidents
    Officers issued 12 traffic warnings and assisted one motorist Tuesday.
    Over the holidays, officers assisted Statesboro police on several incidents, including an armed robbery at the Flash Foods on Fair Road and a fire at Thompson Pool Supply on North Zetterower Avenue.
    OLYMPIC BOULEVARD — Officers responded to the Kappa Alpha house in reference to an injured person. EMS was notified, responded and transported the injured person.
