    * Ygnacio H. Siaz-Hernandez, 71, Lanier Drive – DUI (refused test).
    * Emily Marie Craig, 21, Longbridge Drive, Villa Rica – DUI (.093).
    * Byron Clark White, 34, Sand Hill Road, Brooklet – DUI (.237).
    * Larry Wilmore Jr., 36, Jeffersonville – DUI (refused test).
    * Seatbelt citations – five.

Georgia Southern University Arrests
    * Christian Jamal Jones, 23, Gilyard Road, Sylvania- possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of a drug related object and wanted person.
    * Paul Daniel Rushing, 51, Burkhalter Road — public drunk.
    * Alvester Sheffield III, 20, Oglethorpe Highway, Savannah — possession of marijuana and no valid decal on license plate.
    * Joshua James Taylor, 21, Lanier Drive — open container violation and headlight requirements.
    * Officers issued one traffic citation Friday, one Saturday and four Sunday.
 
Statesboro Police Incidents
    * PINE RIDGE APARTMENTS – Someone stole a TV, Wii, laptop computer and DVDs.
    * HARDEN ROAD – Someone stole a mailbox and post.
    * GROOVER HOMES – A woman reported someone stole $150 worth of candy from her kitchen.
    * BELK – A woman removed a coffee maker from a shelf, went to a counter and got $97.34 “returned” on a gift card, and made it out of the store before store detectives stopped her. They retrieved the gift card and she fled – but they know her identity.
    * NORTH COLLEGE STREET – Someone stole a TV from a home.
    * KMART – A man put an MP3 player up his sleeve and tried to shoplift it – but failed and was arrested.
    * LANIER DRIVE – Officers stopped a pair of suspicious men after having just responded to a burglary. They found one man in possession of a Play Station 3 he had stolen from porch steps at Camus Club Apartments. He was arrested.
    * WEST GRADY STREET EXTENSION – A man involved in a family feud would not listen when police questioned him and argued with officers, refusing to answer questions. He used profanity in the presence of children and demanded they take him to jail – so they did.

Bulloch Sheriff’s Incidents
    * ADEN LANIER ROAD – (Nevils) A woman said someone shot her digital entry system during the night. Her children herd a single gunshot, they said.
    * McCALL BOULEVARD – (Statesboro) Someone called 911 to report a man with a knife around a pool near Johnson’s Run. Deputies found no one with a knife, and several people there said they saw several teenage boys run from the area. The call was suspected to be a prank.
    * LAKEVIEW ROAD – (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a syrup bowl, copper fittings, copper cable, and rolls of copper wiring.

Georgia Southern University Incidents
    * WEDNESDAY — Officers issued two traffic warnings and assisted one motorist.
    * THURSDAY — Officers issued one traffic warning.
    * FRIDAY — Officers issued one traffic citation and two traffic warnings.
    * SATURDAY — Officers assisted three motorists and assisted one sick person.
    * SUNDAY — Officers issued, one traffic warning, assisted two motorists, responded to one alarm and investigated one accident.
    * HENDERSON LIBRARY — A bicycle was reported stolen.
    * CENTENNIAL PLACE – A resident reported $780 missing from their room.
    * UNIVERSITY VILLAS — Several screens were found removed from window.

    Troopers  reported the following activity over the holiday and weekend:
