Statesboro Police Arrests
    Wednesday and Thursday arrests will be published Saturday.

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests
    Robert Emory Newton Sr., 44, Roberts Street, Sylvania – criminal trespass, battery, disorderly conduct, wanted person.
    Steven Benjamin Damelin, 41, Jef Road – falsifying statements and concealing facts.
    Joseph Damien Dyches, 32, Mill Creek Road – reckless conduct.
    Casandra Jill Turner, 35, George Miller Road – felony theft by taking.
    Lavaughn Gene Thopson, 48, Dyches Road – possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, (violation of a law stating the) original container (prescription bottle) required.
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Troopers issued 10 traffic violation citations Wednesday.
    James Harold  Milton,  48, Memory Lane – DUI (.102).
    Adam Dale Rogers, 32, no street address listed, Glennville – DUI ( .083)
Georgia Southern University Arrests
    Officers issued five traffic citations Wednesday.
    Matthew Horner, 20, King Arthur Drive — DUI.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
    CEDARWOOD ACRES MOBILE HOME PARK – (Register) A juvenile said her mother’s boyfriend took her cell phone.
    MIDDLEGROUND ROAD – (Statesboro) A woman told deputies a man’s grandchildren have ridden four—wheelers so much on her property, they have made ruts. The complainant told the children to stop, and their mother protested, saying she didn’t appreciate the complainant talking to her children.
    HAWK LANE – (Statesboro) A man reported a burglary, listing a Play station and related games stolen. The house was also ransacked.
    NEVILS CREEK CHURCH ROAD – (Portal) A man said his ex—wife failed to comply with divorce orders by refusing him to visit his daughter.
    PINTAIL LANE – (Statesboro) A woman said she arrived home to see a man standing in the yard. A short time later he knocked on her door, asking for “Rico.” Then he asked whether she lived alone. He left when she said her boyfriend lived with her.
    HIGHTOWER ROAD – (Statesboro) A man said someone egged and put shaving cream all over his vehicles.
    LAKEVIEW ROAD – (Statesboro) A man said he argued with another man after he shot a coyote. After he shot the coyote, the offender, who lives on adjacent property, fired a shotgun into the air and started arguing with the complainant as he left the area.
    BROOKLET—DENMARK ROAD – (Brooklet) A man reported seeing two juvenile males on his property, and later found a “no trespassing” sign broken.
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
    Troopers issued four warnings and investigated two crashes Wednesday.
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    Officers issued one traffic warning, assisted four motorists and worked one accident Wednesday.
    MATH BUILDING — Officers assisted the GBI with serving an arrest warrant.
    SOUTHERN PINES — A resident reported someone damaged her car while it was parked in the parking lot.
    EINSTEIN’S BAGELS  — A student reported a book bag was stolen.
    RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER — EMS responded to assist a student who had passed out.
    EAGLE VILLAGE — A resident reported someone damaged her vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot.

    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Wednesday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department—  17 calls.
    Statesboro Police Department—  19 calls.
    University Police Department –   no calls.
    Georgia State Patrol –  two  calls.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department  — four calls.
    Evans County Sheriff's Department –  three  calls.
    Claxton Police Department –  two calls.
    Portal Police Department –one   call.

    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Wednesday:
    Statesboro Fire Department – one  call.
    Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters —  three calls.
    Metter Fire Department – two  calls.

    Bulloch County EMS –four accident calls, two rescue calls and nine medical calls.
    Candler County EMS – one accident call and two medical calls.
    Evans County EMS – one medical call.
    Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls Wednesday:  five calls to Bulloch county First Responders.
