Statesboro Police Arrests
Damico Antwyan Palmer, 31, Loretha Street – second offense driving with a suspended license, following too closely.
James Douglas Saunders, 28, Morris Street – probation violation, simple battery.
Preston Glenn Reinheimer, 26, Lily Pad Lane – failure to maintain lane, second offense DUI.
Jeffrey Scott Cleary, 39, Scarboro Highway, Sylvania – stop sign violation, open container, DUI.
Arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Statesboro Police Incidents
MAGIC CAAR WASH – A man unlocked a car for a woman, and she promised to pay after she went to an ATM. She never returned or paid.
BEALL’S OUTLET – Four juveniles were caught shoplifting.
BELK – A woman was charged with felony shoplifting after taking men’s clothing without pay.
MORRIS HEIGHTS APARTMENTS – A man grabbed a woman by the shirt and choked her during an argument over her alleged infidelity.
STATESBORO HIGH SCHOOL – A school safety sweep with the assistance of Chatham County Sheriff’s Office revealed a small amount of marijuana in a classroom, but no arrests.
CAMPUS CROSSINGS APATMENTS - A woman reported the theft of a TV and comforter.
THE POINTE AT SOUTHERN – A man reported someone stole his X-Box.
MADISON MEADOWS – A man said two men with a gun tried taking his bicycle, but he did not give it to them.
WAL-MART - A man threatened a woman with a knife if she did not get back into his car, a woman told police.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
U.S. 80 WEST – (Portal) A car full of women was chasing another car with females inside after a fight in Statesboro at Morris Heights Apartments. Deputies stopped the cars, and two women became disorderly. They were arrested, and a driver was arrested on reckless driving charges. A juvenile who was arrested became unruly and was placed in a restraint chair.
PAMELA WAY – (Statesboro) A man said someone kicked in a door to his home went into a back bedroom and drank beer.
BURKHALTER ROAD – (Statesboro) A woman said she and a man argued because he got upset over her going to a tanning bed.

Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter Reports
The shelter reported the following activity during the week of March 8-14.
Animals incoming:
    Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, rural areas  - 12 dogs and three cats.
    Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, Statesboro city limits – four dogs.
    Surrendered by citizens - four dogs and six cats.
    Number of animals in surrendered litter - four puppies and 11 kittens.
Animals outgoing:
    Shelter adoptions - four dogs and one cat.
    Returned to owners – one dog
Died at shelter- four cats.
    Euthanized from adoption floor- three cats.
    Euthanized from isolation  - 10 dogs and five cats.
Officer activity:
    Court summons/citations - three.
    Warnings issued - 30.
Money collected:
    Adoption fees - $210.
    Surrender fees - $40.
    Returned animal fines - $35.
    Donations - $20.
