Statesboro Police Arrests
    Laurel Sherrod, 18, Plum Avenue, Metter – theft by shoplifting.
    Ronnie Venson, 48, Mincey Street –bicycle lights violation, public intoxication, obstruction.
    Kelvin Joseph Saffore Jr., 28, NE Broad Street. Metter – no tag, marijuana possession.
    James Gregory Sims, 21, Mill Creek Church Road, Ellabell – probation violation.
    Joshua Xavier Robinson, 19, Harvey Drive – battery.
    Robert James Quinn, 19, Packinghouse road – seat belt violation, marijuana possession.
    Darriyon Lamar Oglesby, 22, Jones Avenue – marijuana possession.
    Dontavius Lashawn Plowden, 20, Packinghouse Road – driving while unlicensed, seat belt violation, marijuana possession.
    Justin Matthew Young, 32, Harwood Street – driving with a suspended license.
    Stevie Levon Young, 40, Pine Street – aggravated assault.
    
Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests
    Tuesday and Wednesday arrests will be published Friday.

Georgia Southern University Arrests
    Officers issued one traffic violation citation Tuesday.
          
Statesboro Police Incidents
    WAL-MART – A woman and two juveniles were caught shoplifting beauty items and cologne. Also, a juvenile was caught stealing cell phone memory discs.
    MARSHAM DRIVE – A woman said her boyfriend threatened to burn her house down, hurt her and steal items. The man denied the accusation, and said he just wanted his computer back.
    U LOUNGE – A man complained that someone scattered flyers on  the property.
    WEST MAIN STREET – A man and woman argued over her infidelity.
    SUMMIT APARTMENTS – A man said his former boyfriend came to get property and entered without permission. Then, they fought and the apartment tenant suffered visible injuries.
    EASTSIDE CEMETERY  — A man told police he left a BB gun in the cemetery and returned to find it missing.
    ROBIN HOOD TRAIL – A man said someone took an iPhone from his car.
    BLAKEWOODS APARTMENTS – Two women argued and pushed each other because one was drunk and the other did not approve.
    SAVANNAH AVENUE – A  man said someone entered through a window after cutting mesh wire and stole DVDs, a Nintendo Wii, and jewelry. They also let his dog out.
    GARDEN DISTRICT APARTMENTS – A man and woman argued over a Facebook page.
    EAGLE VILLAS – A man damaged a door, closet door and wall after his girlfriend broke up with him.
    PINE STREET – Two brothers fought and one was arrested for aggravated assault after hitting the other in the head with an unknown object.
    MADISON MEADOWS  — A man and woman argued over his pawning his ring.
    WHISPERING PINES BOULEVARD – A man said another man threatened him with a gun over an argument about money.
    FOXRIDGE APARTMENTS – A woman told police she left a man in her house, and returned to find he put her clothes in the tub, poured bleach on them and stole $400.

    Officers issued one traffic citation and assisted one motorist and banned a juvenile form campus  Tuesday.

    Statesboro Fire Department – two  calls.
    Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters — three calls.

    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Tuesday:
    Bulloch County EMS –one fire call and 14 medical calls.
    Candler County EMS – seven medical calls.
    Evans County EMS –three medical calls.
    Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls Tuesday:  a call to the Bulloch County coroner, a call to Georgia Forestry, three calls to Bulloch County First Responders, two calls to Emanuel County 911, a call to Screven County 911, and a call to Tattnall County 911.
