Ryan E. Coy, 18, Christine St., Oxford, N.Y – theft by receiving stolen property and underage possession/consumption of alcohol.
Statesboro Police Incidents
THE POINTE AT SOUTHERN – A man heard someone on his balcony and police found prints where someone had wiped away condensation to see inside.
BUDGET INN – A man and woman argued and each said the other hit them. No visible signs of injury were noted by police.
SAVANNAH AVENUE – A woman called police when she saw a man in a truck strike a mail box, then flee.
INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF PANCAKES – A man said his sister’s boyfriend came to their work place (they both work at IHOP) and started a fight, chasing him outside and throwing a bottle at him.
WAFFLE HOUSE – (both South Main and Northside Drive locations) A woman said a man with whom she has had problems before is stalking her. He will not take no for an answer as he asks her to go out with him. He drives past each restaurant location to find out where she is working for the night, she said. She asked police to serve the man with criminal trespass.
Bulloch Sheriff’s Incidents
STEEPLECHASE COURT – (Statesboro) A woman said kids playing baseball shattered a window.
KOZY KORNER – (Nevils) A woman told deputies she and a man were involved in a dispute. He was charged with simple battery and disorderly conduct.
WEST WATERS LANE – (Clito) A man and woman argued over his wanting her to leave. He said she stayed with him and his family a month after asking to stay for a short while, due to problems, and apparently she had overstayed her welcome.
GENE WALDEN ROAD – (Register) A woman came home to find a man inside her home with another female. An argument ensued and she wanted him to leave.
CLITO ROAD – (Clito) A man reported the theft of a commemorative award watch.
Georgia Southern University Incidents
FRIDAY – Officers issued two traffic warnings, assisted two motorists and responded to one alarm.
SATURDAY – Officers assisted three motorists.
SUNDAY – Officers issued two traffic warnings, assisted two motorists and responded to one alarm.
HERTY BULDING – A door was reportedly damaged.
EAGLE VILLAGE – Someone reported a door was damaged.
University Village – An iPod was taken from a vehicle.
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
Troopers issued 56 warnings and investigated eight crashes with six injuries over the weekend. Troopers also assisted 12 motorists and performed five road checks.
