A Ga. 46 man claimed he was attacked in his home Monday by two gunmen demanding drugs, said Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson.
Deputies responded to the home in the 19000 block of Ga. 46 just before 9 a.m. Monday and spoke to the victim, who said “two men in camouflage” kicked in his front door, awakening him, Anderson said.
The victim did not know the men, he said. “The unknown male offenders then demanded the homeowner’s illegal drugs.”
The victim said he told the suspects he didn’t have any illegal drugs, but they ransacked the home anyway, he said. When they found nothing they wished to take, one of the offenders struck the victim on the back of the head with a shotgun, reports stated.
The homeowner suffered minor injuries and did not require medical attention, Anderson said.
One suspect was described as a black male, standing between 6’1” and 6’3”, with dreadlocks to the middle of his neck.
The other suspect was a white male, with no further description available, he said.
“Anyone with information about the case may contact Inv. Dustin Williams at (912) 764-8888,” he said.
