Illegal, sexually explicit images on a Statesboro man's cellphone landed him behind bars after someone tipped off police about the photos. Michael Frank Leon, 35, of Valley Road, was arrested Friday after Statesboro police investigated the tip, said Madison Warren, Statesboro police community information specialist. Leon reportedly was also found to have engaged in a physical relationship with a juvenile girl, she said. Detectives learned this upon further investigation after discovering the sexually explicit and illegal images on his cellphone.
