Based on the results of the investigation and an autopsy, the sheriff's office said, it appears that Ja-Tim drowned accidentally in the swimming pool. There is no indication of foul play and no evidence of gross negligence which contributed to the child's death, the new release says.
At 5:15 p.m. Sunday, deputies were dispatched to a home in the 800 block of West Waters Road, near Clito, in reference to a child found unresponsive in a swimming pool.
Family members were attempting CPR on the child as deputies and Bulloch EMS arrived.

Investigators conducted numerous interviews with witnesses and family members and examined the scene for evidence.
An autopsy was performed on the child at the GBI's Coastal Regional Crime Lab on Monday.
