Statesboro Police Arrests
    Arrests made Friday through Monday will be reported Tuesday.
    
Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests
    Jennifer Rachel Freeman, 19, Chandler Road — possession of a controlled substance.
    Barry Lynn Ruterford, 20, Boston Street, Metter — possession of MDMA (Ecstasy).
    Avis Terevon Hodges, 22, Boston Street, Metter — probation violation.
    Joshua Kyle Hendrix, 23, Dry Branch Village — probation violation.
    Jeffrey William Colton, 18, Auden Trail, Atlanta — underage possession of alcohol, possession of a false ID.
    Gregory Stephen Douglas, 21, Ga. 152, Vidalia — DUI.
    Nicholas Joel Pridgen, 22, Black Creek Church Road, Ellabell — disorderly conduct.

Statesboro Police Incidents
    THE EXCHANGE APARTMENTS — A man reported the  theft of a blue and white 2006 Suzuki motorcycle.
    MORRIS HEIGHTS — A woman said a man struck her in the eye with his fist.
    THE POINT AT SOUTHERN — A man said two ex-girlfriends came to his house to fight over past relationships. One hit him in the face with her fist, then the other handed the first woman a handgun that the man said he recognized as a BB gun. The first ex-girlfriend then threatened to shoot the complainant, he said. He told police he was missing his cell phone, and later called to report someone had shattered the glass window on his car and took his CD face plate and an ignition key.
    WAL-MART — A juvenile was caught taking items (cigarettes) from a red Jeep in the parking lot.
    In a separate incident a woman was arrested for shoplifting by  placing sandals in her purse/
    BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB — A juvenile received threatening text messages.
    PARK AVENUE BANK — A man and woman argued about her following him.
    EAST GRADY STREET — A woman said a man pushed her against a wall during a fight about their separation.

    During the period between March 1-13  , the Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter recorded the following activity:
    Animals incoming:
    Bulloch Humane Enforcement, rural areas — 11 dogs and 17 cats.
    Bulloch Humane Enforcement, Statesboro city limits — five dogs and seven cats.
    Abandoned at shelter — one dog and one cat.
    Surrendered by citizens — three dogs and two cats.
    Number in litters surrendered — 12 puppies and 13 kittens.
    Animals outgoing:
    Shelter adoptions — five dogs and two cats.
    Returned to owners — one dog.
    Euthanized from isolation floor — two cats.
    Humane Enforcement calls:
    Opossum complaints — three.
    Citations issued — 11.
    Warnings issued — 14.
    Money collected:
    Adoption fees — $245
    Surrender fees — $60.
    Returned animal fines — $75.
    Donations — $25.
