Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests   
     Joshua Hunter, 21, Old Dublin Road, Claxton — probation violation.
    Elosia Quintero, 19, Cypress Lake Mobile Home Park, Register — battery (family violence).
    Jason Allen Glover, 27, Georgia Villas — obstruction.
    Jerry Jerome Leake, 33, Chandler Road — criminal trespass, obstruction.
    Jessica Nicole Alderman, 20, Ogeechee Road — bench warrant.
    Keysha Naomi Smith-Span, 36, Hidden Hill Spur — probation violation.
    Roger Dale Miller, 59, Chances Mobile Home Park — third degree cruelty to children, simple battery.
    Daniel Fred Buck, 38, T. H. Lee Road — public intoxication, wanted person, criminal trespass.
    Alvaro Garcia, 38, U.S. 80 — disobedience to a traffic control device, no driver's license, DUI.
    
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Troopers issued two traffic violation citations Wednesday.
         
Georgia Southern University Arrests
      Marquis Antwon Fuller, 22, Hawthorne Court — three counts of theft by shoplifting.
    
Statesboro Police Incidents   
    SOUTH COLLEGE STREET — A man reported someone burglarized his home, taking a box of tools, a 10 speed bicycle, a weed eater and a battery charger.
    ST. CHARLES PLACE — A man said someone stole a Play Station 2, a PSP game, two Playstation games and DVDs.
    THE LODGE APARTMENTS — A woman called police to help remove a woman she had asked to leave due to nonpayment of rent.
    MORRIS HEIGHTS APARTMENTS — A woman said her boyfriend pushed her during an argument.
    FAST & EASY /UNIVERSITY PLAZA — A woman said an unknown man called 10 to 12 times asking for a person she did not know. The caller did so again while the reporting officer was there, and the officer warned him against calling back.
    NORTH EDGEWOOD DRIVE — A  man told police an unknown man entered his unlocked door around 4 a.m. and threw an unknown object at his door.
             
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents   
    CHANCE'S MOBILE HOME PARK — (Clito) A woman said her husband slapped their son by striking each cheek with his right and left hands at the same time.
    BIRD ROAD — (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a lawn mower.
    PAMELA WAY — (Statesboro) A man said someone tried kicking in his back door, causing slight damage but not gaining entry.
    BLACK CREEK CHURCH ROAD — (Brooklet) A man reported the theft of a blue 1981 Oldsmobile Sierra,  a 1989 blue Dodge Caravan, and miscellaneous hand tools that were in one of the vehicles.
    LANGSTON CHAPEL MIDDLE SCHOOL — (Statesboro) A juvenile was arrested on charges of stealing money from a purse.
        
Georgia State Patrol Incidents   
    Troopers issued six warnings and investigated three crashes with no reported injuries Wednesday.
        
Georgia Southern University Incidents
     COLLEGE OF INFO/TECH — Someone reported being harassed.
     HENDERSON LIBRARY — Someone reported a case of harassment.
      MATH/PHYSICS BUILDING — A case of harassment was reported.
    JOHNSON HALL — Someone complained about an intoxicated person.
     KENNEDY HALL — Someone reported an intoxicated person.
     OLD REGISTER ROAD — Someone filed a complaint regarding an intoxicated person.
    WINBURN HALL — Someone complained about loud music.
     Officers issued two traffic warnings, investigated four traffic accidents, assisted 12 motorists and two sick persons, and responded to one alarm Wednesday.    
    
Animal Shelter Reports
    The Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter reported the following activity during the week of Aug. 6-12:
    Animals received:
    Rural county areas — 28 dogs.
    Statesboro city limits — two dogs, two cats.
    Brooklet city limits — one dog.
    Abandoned at shelter — nine cats.
    Surrendered by citizens —  six dogs, four cats.
    Number in litters surrendered —  25 puppies, 12 kittens.
    Animals out:
    Shelter adoptions — four dogs, five cats.
    Humane Society adoptions — two dogs, one cat.
    Returned to owners — one dog.
    Died at shelter — one cat.
    Euthanized from isolation floor — 37 dogs, 11 cats.
    Euthanized from adoption floor — one dog, seven cats.
    Animal Control calls: two regarding snakes., three warnings issued.
    Fees collected:
    Adoption fees — $315
    Surrender fees — $30
    Return to owner fees — $25
    Donations — $35
    Miscellaneous — $6
    
911  Law Enforcement Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Wednesday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 11 calls.
    Statesboro Police Department —  14 calls.
    University Police Department — three calls.
    Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — four calls.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department — two calls.
    Evans County Sheriff's Department — two  calls.
    Claxton Police Department — one call.
    
911 Fire Department Reports
    No calls dispatched Wednesday.
        
911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Wednesday:
    Bulloch County EMS — one accident call and 13 medical calls.   
    Candler County EMS — five medical calls.  
    Evans County EMS — one medical call.    
    Central 911 operators also routed  two calls to Bryan County 911, a call to the Bulloch County coroner, a call to Emanuel County 911, a call to Effingham County 911 and a call to Tattnall county 911.
