Statesboro Police Incidents
PARK PLACE APARTMENTS — Two men were walking to the store when a third man confronted them and started an argument. The offender struck one man, then followed the two victims as they tried leaving, harassing them and threatening to get a gun and " pop a cap in" the man he struck.
In a separate incident, a woman said her boyfriend took her rental car without permission.
GNAT'S LANDING — an intoxicated and unruly customer was arrested after police, responding to complaints, found him outside the restaurant, belligerent and cursing.
SUMMIT APARTMENTS — A man saw smoke and called for help. Investigations revealed the apartment's hydraulic pumps were overheating.
INSTITUTE STREET — A man said he was arguing with another over money and the offender kicked his truck repeatedly, denting it.
BEA DOTS WAY — A woman reported another female calling her and hanging up as soon as she answers.
EL SOMBRERO — (Fair Road) An intoxicated man tripped and fell outside the restaurant. Someone called a cab to take him home, but the cab driver flagged down police when the offender refused to tell him where he lived or pay cab fare. The offender exited the cab, cursing the driver, and was given a ride by police - to jail, after his arrest.
UNIVERSITY PLAZA — Police found an intoxicated man lying in the bushes near Henry's Haircuts. The man said someone punched him in the nose, and he did not know why.
PLANTATION VILLAS — A woman reported a wallet stolen from her car.
FOXRIDGE APARTMENTS — A woman said her ex-boyfriend threw her phone into the yard, breaking it, when she broke up with him.
CAMPUS CLUB APARTMENTS — A tenant said someone came in, broke two mirrors, strewed things around and took a closet door off its hinges in his bedroom.
In a separate incident police cited four underage people for drinking in the parking lot.
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
MALLARD POND ROAD — (Statesboro) A man told deputies he heard someone in his attic, but no one was found.
GA. 119 — (Brooklet) A woman said a man is harassing her by calling her home and threatening to come to her home if she called the sheriff's office.
OLD REGISTER ROAD — (Statesboro) A man said his daughter saw a man's arm come through a door and try to unlock a secondary locking device in his home. The girl then heard the man leave after cranking his vehicle. This has occurred once before, he said.
CHESTNUT OAK LANE — (Statesboro) A juvenile was arrested after striking an adult and pushing another juvenile.

Officers issued one traffic warning, assisted three motorists, responded to one alarm and investigated one accident Thursday.
