Georgia State Patrol Arrests

            Troopers issued 11 citations Thursday for traffic violations.

           

Georgia Southern University Arrests

              Alexander Smith Cubbage, 23,  Jefferson Township Parkway,

 Marietta — DUI.

   Officers issued one traffic citation Thursday. 

           

Statesboro Police Incidents      

            SANDY WAY — A woman said another female threatened her over a custody battle the complainant is experiencing with the offender's brother.

            GENTILLY DRIVE — A man said an unknown man was in his house and pushed him down several times. In a separate incident, the same complainant told police someone kicked in his door.

            EAGLES LANDING — A man said another unknown male struck  him in the mouth, causing bleeding.

            COTTON AVENUE — A man reported a physical altercation between himself and a man who owed him money.

           

Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents        

            BURKHALTER MOBILE HOME PARK — (Statesboro) A man who said his girlfriend owns the mobile home park told two juveniles to stop riding four-wheelers in the park. The juvenile's father threatened to physically attack the complainant if he ever talked to his children in that manner.

            MEADOWBROOKE WAY — (Ellabell) A woman said a man in her home had been drinking and they argued about a house payment. She said she was holding her grandchild when he stuck his finger in her face and tried to strike her.

            JIM FUTCH ROAD — (Pembroke) A man said someone tried to pry open his door.

            SILVER CREEK SALOON — A man said a disorderly person was removed from the premises. The person who was removed told deputies several unknown persons punched him and held him down. He was served criminal trespass for the club.

            INTERSTATE 16 — (Statesboro) A man said he and another man were traveling on the interstate when they argued over a relationship. The complainant said the driver slammed on brakes, causing the complainant to strike his head on the windshield. The driver pulled over and slapped the complainant in the face after putting him out.

            BARN MOBILE HOME PARK — (Statesboro) A juvenile called 911 when she overheard her sister and her sister's boyfriend arguing in anther room. The parties involved said there was no physical contact during the argument.

            In a separate incident, a woman told deputies the birth mother of a child of which she has custody came to her home and wanted to take the child.

            SIMONS ROAD — (Statesboro) A man told deputies he let his dog out and it returned with a bleeding leg. A West Jones Avenue man in a neighboring yard had been shooting squirrels with a pellet gun and the complainant suspected he shot his dog, but the other man said he did not do so.

            PEACEFUL LANE — (Portal) A woman said she and her boyfriend argued over his relationship with another person, and he grabbed her throat and choked her.

            BLACK CREEK CHURCH ROAD — (Brooklet) A woman said her husband had been drinking heavily and they argued.

            DEPARTMENT OF FAMILY AND CHILDREN SERVICES — (Statesboro) A man said a woman visiting her children in foster care at the facility became verbally abusive to staff, using obscene language in the presence of her child.. Staff ordered a drug screening.

            GA. 46 — (Pembroke) A man said his ex-girlfriend harassed him over disputed property.

            TEAL CIRCLE — (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a jar of change and a stereo system.

            POINTER ROAD — (Statesboro) A man said his son came running into the house and said someone in a gold car pulled up to his mail box and told him to get in the car.

            BROOK RUN DRIVE — (Register) A man said he argued with his son about being disrespectful and not helping with bills.

            SKYE DRIVE — (Statesboro) A woman told deputies a man struck her on the arm with a belt, leaving a welt.

            GUINEVERE COURT — (Statesboro) A woman said she came to Statesboro to visit her daughter. She knocked on the door and someone shouted for her to come in, and she saw her daughter's roommates smoking marijuana. She said she was shocked and went outside to call her husband to ask what to do, and the three girls ran from the house after spraying perfume in the air.

            S. JACKSON ROAD — (Statesboro) Deputies responded to a reported domestic dispute and found an ongoing argument. A woman said her husband attacked her when she asked him when he was going to take his mother home. She said he held her down and struck her in the head. The man said he was lying in bed when the woman struck him with an iron. Both had visible injuries.

           

Georgia State Patrol Incidents  

             Troopers issued six warnings, assisted two motorists and investigated two crashes with no reported injuries Thursday.

           

Georgia Southern University Incidents

             COLLEGE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION — Someone reported a wallet taken from the building.

   Officers  investigated one traffic accident, assisted four motorists and responded to one fire alarm Thursday.

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Thursday:

            Bulloch County Sheriff's Department - seven calls.

             Statesboro Police Department — seven calls.

            University Police — one call.

            Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — six calls.

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Thursday:

            Statesboro Fire Department — one call.

            Metter Fire Department — two calls.

                       

911 EMS Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Thursday:

            Bulloch County EMS — an accident call and 14 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — two  medical calls.  

            Evans County EMS — two medical calls.   

            Central 911 operators also routed a call to Tattnall County 911.
