Mark Hynko joins First Southern

      First Southern National Bank has hired Mark Hynko as senior vice president of the bank.
      Hynko's responsibilities include assisting in all areas of loan administration, and assisting in the general oversight of the bank's lending function.

"His extensive knowledge and experience in lending and with our local community make him an excellent addition to our well qualified team. With team members like Mark, we will continue to provide unsurpassed service to our customers."
      Hynko brings more than 26 years of finance business experience to First Southern, including, most recently, 19 years with another local community bank.
      Hynko is active in the community, serving as a Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board member, a past Exchange Club president, past chair of the Chamber of Commerce Agri-business Committee, and chair of last year's American Diabetes Walk.
      He is a member of Leadership Southeast Georgia, Leadership Bulloch, and a past chair of Leadership Bulloch and Youth Leadership Bulloch.
      He and his wife, Lorna, have two sons, Ryan and Justin.
      They are members of Lanes Primitive Baptist Church in Stilson.
