Citizens Bank of Bulloch Co. creates board of directors

      David P. Beaubien, president of Citizens Bank of Bulloch County, recently announced the creation of a local board of directors. The appointed members represent a variety of area professions and related affiliations. Beaubien will also serve on the Bulloch County Board of Citizens Bank to direct the experienced group of advisors.
      Here is a list of board members:
      Lovett Bennett Jr. is a local attorney and has practiced in the Statesboro area for more than twenty-five years. His family has been engaged in the practice law in Bulloch County since his grandfather, William G. Neville, began his practice in 1916. He is a member and immediate past president of the Statesboro Kiwanis Club and serves as the Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America Troop #342. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Attorney's Title Guaranty Fund, Inc. as the second vice president. He is married to the former Missy Mallard and has two sons. Will is a junior at the University of Georgia and Michael is a senior at Statesboro High School.
      James A. Brannen is a local farmer specializing in produce production, packaging, and sales. He is involved with the local Red Cross and currently serves on the board of the Georgia Fruit/Vegetable Growers Association and the Georgia Watermelon Association. Brannen currently serves on the membership committee of the Statesboro Bulloch County Chamber of Commerce. Jamie is married to the former Ashley Deal and they have three children; Ashley Ann, Lindsey and Alec.
      Kevin A. Harrison is the executive vice president of Citizens Bank of Bulloch County. He is affiliated with the local United Way and was also selected to participate in the 2009 class of Leadership Bulloch. He is a member of the Coastal Conservation Association, Rotary Club of Statesboro, and attends Statesboro First United Methodist Church with his family. Harrison and his wife Mary Helen have one son, Davis, who will be a year old in July.
      Dr. John T. Hodges is a local orthopedic surgeon. He is affiliated with professional groups, AAOS and MAG and is also a member of the Statesboro Sigma Chi Alumni Association. He and his family are members of First United Methodist Church. Hodges is married to Shannon and they have three children; Maggie, Ian and James.
      Bill C. Howard is president of Claude Howard Lumber Company. He serves on the board of the North East Treaters and is a member of the Southern Pine Council. Howard is an advisory member of the Coastal Rivers Water Planning and Policy Council and is active with the Statesboro Sigma Chi Alumni Association. He is married to Andrea Howard and father to Will, Brannen and Ashton.
      John G. Mulherin is president of the Georgia Southern University Athletic Foundation Inc. He is past chairman of the local American Red Cross and Special Olympics boards of directors. Mulherin also serves on the Pastoral Council of St. Matthew Catholic Church. He is married to Debbie and they have two children, Clare and Patrick.
      Charles E. Perry, Jr. PE is a registered professional engineer with EMC Engineering Services, Inc. Professionally, he serves EMC Engineering Services as the chief executive officer and chairman of the board. Perry is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Council for Engineering Consultants for Georgia. He is married to Renee and they have two children, Hunter and Jackson.
