The Bulloch County Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting Monday, presenting the program, "Georgia's Crazy Days: The Three Governors Crisis," presented by Joe McGlamery. It will recount the free-for-all over who would be sworn into the governor's office in January 1947 after three men, Gov. Ellis Arnold, newly elected Lt. Gov. Melvin E. Thompson and Herman Talmadge, all claimed the right to take the state's top post.

The Dutch-treat lunch meeting will be held Monday, July 25, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Nessmith-Lane Conference Center on the Georgia Southern University campus.
