Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Monroe Leonard

Lee Anne Wiggins and Joshua Monroe Leonard were united in marriage on Saturday, October 16, 2010, at 5:30 in the afternoon. The Reverend Mark Sargent officiated the double ring ceremony at The First United Methodist Church of Newnan, Georgia.
    Music was provided by David Kinrade, organist; and Sandra McClain Buller, soprano. Elizabeth Burnette read from Colossians 3:12-17.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Wiggins of Statesboro, Ga. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Sara Ellen Lee and the late Leonard Lee of Metter, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arles Wiggins of Statesboro.
    The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Galloway of Newnan, Ga., and the late Julian Robert Leonard Sr. He is the grandson of Mrs. Barbara Imogene Eason and the late Monroe Eason of LaGrange, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Leonard, also of LaGrange.
    Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory gown of satin featuring a strapless bodice overlaid in hand-beaded lace. The pick-up skirt and chapel train were of satin overlaid in lace with hand-beaded clusters throughout. Accenting the gown was a champagne cummerbund with train-length sashes.  Her elbow-length veil, made by the bride's mother, was of ivory bridal illusion and edged with a hand-beaded design to compliment the gown. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of antique green hydrangeas, white stock, pale pink roses and white lisianthus.
    The matron of honor was Elizabeth Burnette of Gainesville, Ga. Bridesmaids were Meghan Jaffe of Decatur, Ga., and Amanda Leonard of Sharpsburg, Ga., sister-in-law of the groom. Junior bridesmaids were Nora Wiggins of Statesboro, niece of the bride; and Reese Leonard of Sharpsburg, niece of the groom. The flower girl was Erin Wiggins of Statesboro, niece of the bride.
    The attendants wore satin strapless gowns with pick-up skirts in truffle and carried hand-tied bouquets of antique green hydrangeas, pale pink roses and pink lisianthus. Junior bridesmaids wore tea-length satin dresses of truffle with wide spaghetti straps, and carried small hand-tied bouquets of pale pink roses and pink lisianthus.
    Julian Robert Leonard Jr. of Sharpsburg, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Philip Hand of Tucker, Ga., and Joseph Lane of Avondale Estates, Ga. Junior groomsman was Zachary Faulk of Sharpsburg, nephew of the groom. Ushers were Brad Wiggins of Statesboro, brother of the bride; and David Galloway of Newnan, Ga., stepfather of the groom.
    Following the ceremony, a reception was hosted at Whitewater Creek Golf and Country Club in Fayetteville, Ga.
    The couple honeymooned on Saint John Island and now resides in Decatur, Ga.
