Lorna Beasley of Statesboro is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Shelby Dolores Sanders of Statesboro, to Matt Lawson Conner, son of Charles and Sherry Conner of Stilson.
    The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Bodie Sanders of Statesboro. She is the granddaughter of Carolyn Cannon and the late Benji Sanders of Stilson and Albert and Dolores Tankersley of Augusta. She is a 2009 honor graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and a 2015 cum laude graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in nursing.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Ann Conner and the late Bennie Conner of Stilson and Charles and Willette Mallard of Statesboro. He is a 2009 Southeast Bulloch High School graduate and a 2011 graduate of the agribusiness program at Ogeechee Technical College. He is currently self-employed as a fourth-generation farmer in Stilson as well as employed at T.L. Davis Farm.
    The wedding is planned for June 6, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. at Lanes Primitive Baptist Church in Stilson.
    The reception will follow at Meldrim Woods Plantation.
