Ms. Bonnie Bowman Rushing of Statesboro, Ga., is pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Kelli René Rushing, to Richard Wayne "Ricky" Mincey II, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Shirley Mincey, all of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the daughter of Anthony Robin Rushing of Brunswick, Ga., and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Linwood G. Bowman ("Bub" and "Jewell") of Statesboro and Mr. and Mrs. Franklin and Wylene Rushing of Register, Ga. Kelli is a 2008 graduate of Statesboro High School. She graduated from Georgia Southern University in December with a Bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. She will begin working on her graduate degree in school counseling in the fall. She is an alumna of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority and Psi Chi honor society.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Waldo and Barbara Beasley of Rocky Ford, Ga., and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Austin and Connie Mincey of Statesboro. Ricky is a 2007 graduate of Statesboro High School. He is enrolled at Georgia Southern University, studying Environmental Sustainability and Business. Ricky is currently employed at UPS.
    The couple plans to wed on October 19th, 2013, at the Belle House.
