Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Rachels of Wrightsville are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Cassandra Elizabeth Rachels, to Brian Christopher Kearney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald W. Kearney of Statesboro.
       The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Noah A. Lindsey and Mrs. Ruth C. Stephens and Mr. and Mrs. Fermon L. Rachels, all of Wrightsville.
       The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. J.B. Kearney and Mrs. Jane Kearney and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred O. Wheeler, all of Statesboro.
        The wedding will take place at the Robbins Nest in Statesboro on October 30, 2010, at 3:00 in the afternoon.
