Friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. John E. "Johnny" Parrish Jr. of Statesboro are invited to join the couple in celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary with a reception from 2 until 4 p.m. on June 4th in the parlor of the Pittman Park United Methodist Church in Statesboro. The couple was married on June 11th, 1961, at the Millen Methodist Church. They have three children, Patti Lu Schmidt of Charlotte, N.C., Bonnie Roginsky of Marietta, Ga., and John E. Parrish III of Richmond, Va.; and six grandchildren. No gifts, please.
