Mr. and Mrs. John William Lewis Jr.

    Jennifer Leigh Odom and John William Lewis Jr. were joined in marriage on October 1, 2011, at 5 p.m. in St. Simons Island, Georgia. The Rev. Bob Brearly conducted the service at the King and Prince Beach Resort overlooking the ocean.
    Jennifer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Terry Odom Jr. of Bonaire, Georgia. The bride is the granddaughter of the late Lt. Col. and Mrs. Lee Patterson of Warner Robins, Georgia, and the late Mr. Leon Odom and Mrs. Louise Odom Owens of Reidsville, Georgia.
    John "Jake" is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John William Lewis Sr. of Warner Robins and is the grandson of Mr. William Rowland and the late Mrs. Joy Kitchens of Centerville, Georgia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Lewis of Warner Robins, Georgia.
    The bride wore a soft white silhouette fitted lace gown with beaded floral detail and an ivory sash with beaded embellishments. She carried a bouquet of blue hydrangea and white roses. She wore her grandmother's pearl necklace and a pearl bracelet and earrings given to her by the groom.
    The maid of honor was the bride's sister, Holly Odom of Warner Robins. Bridesmaids were the groom's sister, Staci Lewis of Warner Robins; and the bride's friends, Elena Bencini of Statesboro, Melissa Bailey of Athens, Leigh Anne Divito of Savannah and Lauren Bruner of Savannah.
    The bridesmaids wore one-shoulder royal blue satin knee dresses and carried bouquets of deep blue hydrangea and white roses.
    The flower girl was Jessica McGuire of Warner Robins, cousin of the bride. The ring bearer was David McGuire of Warner Robins, cousin of the bride.
    The groom's father, John Lewis Sr., was best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Goheen of Warner Robins, Chandler Havard of Athens, Harry Carter of Atlanta, Ben Morrow of Warner Robins and Whylie Williams of Warner Robins.
    The bride's aunt, Mrs. Mac Grace, hosted a bridesmaids' luncheon at Mullet Bay restaurant on the day of the wedding.
    The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at the Saltwater Cowboy restaurant in St. Simons.
    A dinner buffet was held following the wedding at the t King and Prince Beach Resort.
    Following a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in Statesboro.
