Sydney Rebecca Marsh and Christopher Paxton Lewis

    Jeanne C. Marsh of Stilson and Charles W. "Rusty" Marsh of Brooklet announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Sydney Rebecca, to Christopher Paxton Lewis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Paxton Lewis of LaGrange.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. LaVone R. Brown and the late Mr. Harmon Graham Cribbs Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman Marsh. She is the great-granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Franklin Ray Jr. of Savannah. Sydney is a 2002 honor graduate (salutatorian) of Southeast Bulloch High School and a 2006 summa cum laude graduate of Georgia Southern University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre. She is employed by Party City in Portage, Michigan, and participates in community theatre.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James R. Lewis and Ms. Ann Pellow and the late Arthur Richard Pellow. Chris is a 2002 graduate of Troup High School and a 2006 graduate of Georgia Southern University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre. He is employed by the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
    The wedding will be held in the Emma Kelly Theater at the Averitt Center for the Arts in Statesboro, Georgia, on July 16, 2011, at 2 p.m.
