Mr. and Mrs. Barry Lee Johnston of St. Simons Island are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Elizabeth, to William John Healy, son of Dr. and Mrs. Stephen J. Healy of Statesboro.
       Sara is the granddaughter of Mrs. Marion Johnston and the late Mr. Charles L. Johnston Jr. of Baltimore, Md., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony F. Podraza of Hazleton, Pa. Sara is a 2002 graduate of Glynn Academy in Brunswick and a 2006 graduate of Duke University Pratt School of Engineering, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering.
       Will is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William H. Smith Jr. (Polly) of Statesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Healy of Cascade, Iowa. Will is a 2002 graduate of Statesboro High School and a 2006 graduate of Wake Forest University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
       Will and Sara are both currently fourth-year medical students at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and will receive their MD degrees in May.
       Sara and Will’s wedding will be held at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church in Augusta on May 22nd.
       A Statesboro reception will be held at a later date.
