Kelly L. Henry and Stephen J. Rountree were married February 6, 2016, at Dutch Ford Farms in Excelsior, Ga., with Dr. William H. Perry officiating. Music was provided by Chris and Ashlee Mitchell.

The bride is the daughter of the late William and Diane Henry of Fitzgerald, Ga. She is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and Ogeechee Technical College and is currently employed with Memorial University Medical Center as a CT technologist.

The groom is the son of Roy and Katherine Rountree of Statesboro, Ga. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and is employed with Steve H. Powell and Company as a financial institution specialist as well as a director of the company.

The bride and groom chose to surprise wedding guests by inviting them to an informal BBQ lunch. Upon arrival, wooden signs posted on old shovels announced the wedding.

The bride wore an ivory gown with a lace bodice and tulle skirt. The groom wore a light brown suit with dashing suspenders and matching tie.

A reception was held inside an old commissary building used by the farm.

The couple will reside in Statesboro and plan to honeymoon this summer in Alaska.
