Mrs. Grace Lorena Harralson of Cusseta, Ga., and Mr. Kevin Mark Harralson of Mauk, Ga., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Jo Harralson, to Mark Phillips Mashburn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Daniel Nelson (Deidre) of Statesboro, Ga., and Mr. Robert Lee Mashburn of Metter, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Carolyn Joy Davis and the late Willie Lee Davis of Buena Vista, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Frederick Rosso of Cusseta. Heather Jo is a 2005 graduate of Columbus High School. She received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2009 and a Master of Education in 2010, both from Georgia Southern University. She is employed with Georgia Southern University as the coordinator of Civic Engagement.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Dana Jones Macmillan and the late Benjamin Hill Jones Jr. of Macon and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hermit Mashburn of Brunswick. Mark is a 2004 graduate of Bulloch Academy and received a Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration in 2009 from Reinhardt University. He recently returned home after accomplishing a lifelong dream of hiking the Appalachian Trail.
    The couple has planned to wed on March 9, 2013, at the Llewen Farm.
