Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lee (Iris) Durden of Statesboro, Georgia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan Rebecca Durden of Savannah, Georgia, to Justin Paul Garrison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Danny (Lynda) Garrison of Savannah, Georgia.
    Susan is the granddaughter of Lamertine Griffeth and Madge Chitwood Bond of Toccoa, Georgia, and the late Raymond Robert and Annie Maude Woodcock Durden of Statesboro. A graduate of Georgia Southern University, she is employed by the Bryan County Board of Education as a social studies teacher at Richmond Hill Middle School.
    Justin is the grandson of the late Buford and Jessie Mae Garrison of Monroe, Georgia, and the late Levi and Doris Hancock of Savannah. He is a graduate of Savannah Technical College and is employed by the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department.
    The wedding is planned for 2 p.m. on February 18, 2012, at First Baptist Church in Statesboro.
