    Mr. and Mrs. Richard Crenshaw of Conyers, Georgia, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn  Marie Crenshaw, to Larry Joe Sconyers Jr., son of Frank and Eileen Smith and the late Larry Joe Sconyers Sr., all of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late John A. Crenshaw Sr. and Margaret Crenshaw of Warner Robins and Bobby and Nita Gresham of Conyers. Katie is a 2008 honor graduate of Salem High School in Conyers. She is a 2012 honor graduate of Georgia Southern University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education. She is employed by Julia P. Bryant Elementary School in Statesboro.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late James Roy Sconyers and the late Mary Alma Sconyers Chester of Statesboro and the late John Willie Goodman and the late Essie Mae Goodman of Metter. Joe is a 2006 honor graduate of Statesboro High School and a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in music. He is currently pursuing a master's degree from Liberty University in worship studies. Joe is employed as the worship and creative leader at Believers Church of Statesboro.
    The couple plans to wed on November 8 at Believers Church of Statesboro.
