Benjamin Paul Shryock and Danielle Anne Wisniewski were united in marriage on Saturday, June 21, 2008 in Nashville, Tenn.
The groom is the son of Joe and Susan Shryock of Statesboro. The bride is the daughter of Jeffrey and Angela Wisniewski of Nashville, Tenn.
On the eve of the wedding, family and out of town guests were hosted by the groom’s parents to a dinner of Southern foods prepared by a local restaurant in nearby Brentwood, Tenn.
The double-ring ceremony was performed by the father of the groom on the terraced Allee in Percy Warner Park.
The bride wore an empire bodice gown with beaded embroidery. The gown was made of white satin and covered with chiffon. She wore a chapel-length chiffon veil and carried a bouquet of pink roses.
The four o’clock wedding ceremony was followed by a dinner reception at the Wessex Towers, home of the bride’s parents.
At the reception, glasses were raised in honor of the new couple by the groom’s oldest brother, Dr. Andrew J. Shryock of Ann Arbor, Mich., Jonathan Wisniewski, brother of the bride; and the groom’s boyhood friends Mark Grier of Washington, D.C., and Thomas Brown of Statesboro.
After returning to Wisconsin, Ben and Danielle honeymooned on Wisconsin’s Door County Peninsula. The couple now resides in Milwaukee, where Benjamin is an attorney with the International Institute of Wisconsin, and Danielle teaches at Wisconsin Hills Middle School.
