Mr. & Mrs. Jeremy Mitchell Rogers
    Candice Colleen Tillman and Jeremy Mitchell Rogers were united in marriage on Saturday, September 16th, 2006 in a 7 p.m. ceremony at the home of the bride’s father. Dr. John Waters of Statesboro officiated.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.J. Tillman and Mr. and Mrs. John Rule, both of Statesboro. She is the granddaughter of Mary Lee Tillman and the late Billy Tillman of Statesboro and Mr. and Mrs. C.S. Kaney of Savannah.
    The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Rogers of Glennville. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. B.G. Rogers Jr. of Glennville and the late H.C. Brannen and Elizabeth Brannen of Glennville and the late Beth Smiley of Savannah.
    The bride and her father arrived at the ceremony in a horse drawn carriage. The bride, escorted by her father, wore an ivory, strapless, all lace wedding gown. The top of the bodice and bottom of the hem and train were scalloped lace. Delicate seed pearls were placed throughout the dress. She wore a cathedral-length veil of ivory sheer illusion and carried a European hand-tied bouquet of unique orange roses, flame calla lilies and hypernicum berries. The bouquet was accented with French wired ribbon.
    Lynn Rogers Kennedy of Reidsville served as matron of honor. Haley Brannen Tillman of Statesboro served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Milligan Leigh Davis of Ashville, N.C., Gena Leigh Kennedy of Pooler, Rachel McCracken of Smyrna, Ga., Kelly Ruth Smith of Bluffton, S.C., Ragen Nicole Thornton of Miami, Fla., and Laine Marie Williams of Statesboro. Lynsey Rachel Kennedy of Reidsville and Sydney Grace Smith of Savannah were flower girls.
    The bridesmaids wore tea-length chiffon dresses in Bahama breeze blue. Their strapless, shirred bodice featured a horizontal shirred inset at the waist and a full skirt. They also carried European hand-tied bouquets of unique orange roses, flame calla lilies and hypernicum berries. The bouquet was accented with French wired ribbon.
    Joseph Michael Rogers, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jeffrey Allen Biser of Statesboro, Julius Eric Collins of Claxton, Dalton Dale Durrence of Glennville, Thomas Gregory Hendrix of Statesboro, Gavin Brinson Hodges of Reidsville, Brantley Rawls Neville of Statesboro, Foy Barney Randall of Claxton and James Clint Smith of Statesboro. Ring bearers were Wesley Michael Kennedy of Reidsville and Billy Gerome Tillman II of Statesboro.
    Music for the ceremony was provided by Sheila McKee and Nancy Barber. Greeters were Chelsey Danielle Kennedy and Spencer Weston Kennedy. The guest registry was kept by Kaney Andrews Ballance.
    An outdoor reception was held at the Tillman home.
    Following a honeymoon trip to Disney World, the couple resides in Metter.
