Mr. and Mrs. Michael Gary McDaniel of Statesboro and Mr. and Mrs. Homer L. Sapp of Daisy announce the engagement of their children, Melissa Ann McDaniel and Patrick Damon Sapp.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ernest and Jodonne Bennett Reese of Langley, S.C., and the late David Bennett of Johnson Corner and the late Paul and Melba McDaniel of Vidalia. Melissa is a graduate of Bulloch Academy and is a graduate of Ogeechee Technical College with a degree in dental assisting.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Frank and Edna Beasley of Daisy, the late James Wiley Sapp and Allie Mae Sapp Gibson of Hagan and Wilma Sapp of Collins. Patrick is a graduate of Claxton High School and is a graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah. He is currently employed with the Motor Carrier Compliance Division as a law enforcement officer as sergeant.
The ceremony will take place on March 10, 2007, at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Statesboro with a reception immediately following in the Perry Fellowship Hall.
No local invitations are being sent. All friends and family are invited to attend.
The couple will make their home in Daisy.
