Mr. and Mrs. Marquard Y. Jr. and Debbie Lett of Hackettstown, N.J., formerly of Augusta, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lyndsay Hudson Lett of Augusta, to Charles Eugene Riley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Riley of Milledgeville, Ga.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ret. Lt. Col. Robert and Margret Dannacher of Statesboro and Virginia and Bill Read of Bartow, Fla., and the late M.Y. Lett Sr. She is a 2001 graduate of Lakeside High School in Augusta and is a 2005 graduate of Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville with a BS in biology. She is employed as an education specialist with Southeastern Natural Sciences Academy.
The groom-elect is the grandson of H.E. Cown and the late Helen W. Cown of Loganville, Ga., and the late Charles H. Riley Sr. of Miami, Fla., and the late Sarah J. Riley of Milledgeville. He is a 1994 graduate of Baldwin High School and is a 2004 graduate of Georgia College and State University with a BS in criminal justice. He is employed with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, October 20, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian in Martinez, Ga.
The reception will immediately follow in the social hall of the church.
