Paul Hibbs of Statesboro announces the engagement of his daughter, Sarah Jean Hibbs of Atlanta, to Christopher Henson Keiser, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter and Lynne Keiser of Fayetteville, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dr. E.T. Hibbs and the late Ruth Hibbs of Statesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. William and Frances Horwitz of Atlanta. Sarah is a graduate of Statesboro High School and has a degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in environmental biology. She is currently employed as an environmental scientist in Atlanta. Sarah is also currently pursuing additional degrees at the Georgia Institute of Technology in civil/environmental engineering.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Eloise Keiser the late Mac Keiser of Jonesboro, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ray H. and Clara Chambers of Hayesville, N.C. Chris is a graduate of Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, Ga., and has a degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in earth and atmospheric science.
    The couple will wed on August 11, 2007, at the Basil Garden located at the Georgia Tech Alumni House in Atlanta.
