Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Nall of Charleston, S.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Hagan of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Samie Lee Hagan of Charleston, to Robert James Parsons Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert James Parsons of Columbia, S.C.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hagan of Statesboro and Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Rigdon of Stilson. Samie Lee is a graduate of West Ashley High School and is currently majoring in Psychology.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Parsons of Pitts burg, Pa. James is a graduate of Kaplan University with a Criminal Justice degree and is employed by South Carolina Corrections.
The couple has planned to wed on March 6, 2009, at 4 p.m. in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
