Masters Matthew Tootle and Mason Carver announce the forthcoming wedding of their mother and father, Betsy Danielle Driggers and Marty Leigh Carver of Douglas, Ga.
Betsy is the daughter of Danny Driggers of Claxton and Ralph and Jeannie Wood of Metter and is the stepdaughter of Tommy Deloach of Claxton. She is the maternal granddaughter of the late Eldridge “Catfish” Waters and Bobby Jean Waters of Metter. Her paternal grandparents are Sonny Driggers and Frieda Driggers of Statesboro. Betsy is attending East Central Tech. in Douglas, pursuing a degree in nursing.
Marty is the son of Vaughn and Joan Carver of Douglas. He is the maternal grandson of the late Warren and Lois Steed of Nicholls, Ga., and is the paternal grandson of the late Colon and Lila Carver of Douglas. Marty is a 1995 graduate of Coffee High School in Douglas and is self-employed in the drywall business.
The exchanging of vows will take place at Dry Creek Baptist Church of Nicholls on Saturday, October 14, 2006, at 2 p.m. The reception will follow in Dry Creek Church social hall immediately after the wedding.
No formal invitations will be sent. All family and friends are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
