Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Jones of Trussville, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. James D. Crosby of Garden City, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Cecelia Miranda, to Tony E. Blackmon of Blountsville, Ala. Tony is the son of Ms. Patsy Blackmon and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Blackmon of Blountsville, Ala.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late James D. and Ms. Vera Crosby of Garden City, Ga., the late Babara Spence of Guyton, Ga., and Mr. George Jacoby of Bolingbrook, Ill. Cecelia is a 1996 graduate of Bulloch Academy. She attended Georgia Southern University and was a member of the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. She is currently employed by Medical Resources as the billing/collections manager.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Ms. Evelyn Ayers of Blountsville, Ala. Tony is a 1996 graduate of J.B. Penninton High School. He attended Wallace State and is currently employed by Walker Brothers as a foreman.
The wedding is planned for April 18, 2009, at 5 p.m. at Mountain View Gardens and Ballroom in Springville, Ala.
