Mr. & Mrs. Jack Erwin “Wynn” Carney III
    Celeste Brooke Brandenburg of Pembroke became the bride of Jack Erwin “Wynn” Carney III of Pembroke during a 4:30 p.m. wedding ceremony held on November 4, 2006, on Shipwreck Beach, in Kauai, Hawaii. The groom’s father, Jack E. Carney Jr., officiated.
    The bride is the daughter of Jeanne Brandenburg Alpers of Conyers, Ga., and the late Steve Brandenburg. She is the granddaughter of Travis and Louise Brandenburg and Mrs. Charles E. Bolton.
    The groom is the son of Jack and Norma Carney of Richmond Hill and is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Norman Bacon and Mrs. Jack E. Carney Sr. and the late Mr. Carney.
    Given in marriage by her brothers, Ben and Chad Brandenburg, the bride wore a strapless, ivory gown with a waist-length veil. The bride, groom, attendants and guests were all barefooted.
    The bride’s mother, Jeanne Brandenburg Alpers, was the matron of honor. Matt Owens was the best man.
    The bride and groom honeymooned on Maui, Hawaii.
    The reception was held on November 18 at the home of John and Jeanne Alpers.
    Wynn and Brooke will reside in Pembroke.
