Bre Gates has signed a letter of intent to attend Albany State University.The Southeast Bulloch star has spent the last few years running on ASU’s track in the state finals, and will now call Albany home.“I’m excited,” Gates said. “It will be a lot of work and I’ll miss being away from home, but I think it’s a great opportunity and a challenge for me.”Gates finished her SEB career in style two weeks ago. After leading the Lady Yellow Jackets to their third consecutive region title — including their first in the AAA classification this season — she claimed an individual state championship in the long jump.
