Local Roundup: SEB Hall of Fame tickets available

    BROOKLET — Saturday, Southeast Bulloch will welcome its 20th class into the athletic hall of fame as the school holds its annual banquet and induction ceremony.
    This year SEB will add six to the ranks.
    The banquet will begin at 7 p.m., in the Southeast Bulloch High School cafeteria. Thursday will be the last day to pre-order tickets, which cost $10. They may also be available at the door. Tickets may be purchased at the front offices of the middle and high schools.

WJMS, SEB win golf tournament
    The William James Middle School boys and Southeast Bulloch girls won a golf match on Monday at the Georgia Southern University golf course.
    Marissa Cooper and Jade Hoyle led the Lady Jackets to the win, while Tate Rackleff and Ford Berger led WJMS.
    On the girls side, Sloan Aubrey and Maci Nichols led Portal to a second-place finish, ahead of their-place Langston Chapel MIddle School.
    Led by Hunter Higgs and Perry Cribbs, SEB finished second on the boys side ahead of LCMS and Portal.

Lady Blue Devils compete in Douglas
    DOUGLAS — The Statesboro Lady Blue Devils finished fifth in the 14-team Coffee County Lady Trojans Invitational on Monday, with a score of 300.
     Sarah Jane Bowers shot 80 to lead the team, which included Brianna Jones (102) Emily Olssen (118).
    The SHS boys competed in the Golden Isles Invitational on Monday. They were led by Trevor Daily, who shot 88.
