Robert Newton scored a game-high 23 points to lead Laney of Augusta to an 81-43 victory over Southeast Bulloch in a Region 3-AA boys basketball game Saturday night. Sherman Cook had 14 points for Laney.
    SEB (0-15, 0-5) was led by Matthew McBride, who scored 11 points. Preston Smith added 10 points.
