MARTINEZ — Bulloch Academy went on a 14-0 run in the third quarter to erase a nine-point halftime deficit and take a 46-35 victory over GISA Region 4-AAA foe Augusta Prep on Tuesday night.
    The Gators (14-3, 5-1) trailed, 21-12, at halftime. BA turned it around in the third quarter, outscoring the Cavs 14-0 to take a 26-21 lead at the buzzer. In the quarter, both Ross Rainey and Jaylen Evans scored six points each and Hosea Jones added a bucket.
    In the fourth, the Gators outscored APS, 20-14, for the victory.
    Evans led BA with 14 points, while Themba Twala netted nine. Rainey and John Cornett had eight each and Forrest Spence added five.
    Bulloch will host non-region foe Edmund Burke Academy Friday. The Gators will travel to Dublin on Saturday to play Trinity Christian School.
