Bulloch Academy's varsity softball team will help raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association with a four-team, preseason tournament July 31.
    Held at the Georgia Southern University softball fields on Fair Road, the tournament will feature the Lady Gators, Southeast Bulloch, Effingham County and Tattnall Square Academy.
    Members of the Statesboro Officials Association have also waived their game fees to umpire the tournament. Admission is $5 per person.
    BA and ECHS will play at 1 p.m., ECHS and Tattnall Square will play at 3 p.m., SEB and Tattnall Square will play at 5 p.m. and BA will play SEB at 7 p.m.
