Luke Gregg reached on an error and scored on an RBI fielder’s choice in the ninth inning as Western Carolina knocked off Georgia Southern 5-4 on Friday at J.I. Clements Stadium. The Eagles led most of the game, scoring first when a Garrett Chapman leadoff homer sparked a three-run third inning, and GSU (31-20, 13-12 Southern Conference) led 4-0 before the WCU comeback started. Western (33-14, 17-4) got back three runs, all unearned, in the fourth inning.
