BROOKLET, Ga. -- Sybil G. Burnsed, age 66, died Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.
The Chatham County native had lived in Brooklet for the past 42 years. Sybil was a homemaker and a special caretaker to her grandson, Jesse Ervin Remer Burnsed.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Sybil is preceded in death by her husband, Remer D. Burnsed Sr.
Surviving are her son, Remer D. Burnsed Jr. (Angelia) of Brooklet; a daughter, Sybil Denise Burnsed Powell (Michael) of Brooklet; a stepdaughter, Margaret Ann Tellez of Alvin, Texas; one sister, Karen Mills of Bellville; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one niece and nephew.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Deal Funeral Directors.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 20, 2019, from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service at 11 a.m.
Deal Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
