STATESBORO, Ga. -- Roslyn Watts Bullard, age 92, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bullard Sr.; parents, Joe and Edna Watts of Fargo and Homerville, Ga.

Surviving are her three sons, Donald Jr. (Lynn), Joe Anthony (Lynn) and Barry (Laurie); seven grandchildren, Chris, Allison, Tristan (Nikki), Derek, Joel (Krista), Alexandra (Stephen) and Damon; six great-grandchildren, Aidan, Micah, Madison, Aidan, Ezra and Mia; her sister, Melody Fortner; and many dear nephews and nieces.

Roslyn was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her Lord, her family and friends.

She was a licensed practical nurse and worked with First Baptist Church to help start a church nursing ministry, which is still a vital ministry to church members.

She loved music and played for churches wherever she lived. She was a choir member for many years and played at retirement and nursing home services every week until her passing.

She and her husband received Deen Day Smith awards for service to mankind.

She was a member of the Caring Threads Ministry of First Baptist Church.

They enjoyed traveling with the church's senior adults for many years. They celebrated 64 years of marriage before Donald’s passing in 2012.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Deal Funeral Directors from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a memorial service following in the chapel of Deal Funeral Directors. A committal service will take place at Riverside Cemetery in White Springs, FL on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 11 a.m.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Music Ministry or Nursing Ministry at First Baptist Church.
