Statesboro, Ga. — Mrs. Tracy Pendergrass-Houston, age 58, entered into eternal rest Monday, May 10, 2021, at the Oaks at Bethany in Vidalia, Georgia.
She was a native of Bulloch County and a graduate of Statesboro High School.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alton Houston; her mother, Emogene Smith Pendergrass; and a sister, Brenda Gail Pendergrass.
She is survived by her son, Seneca Pendergrass, Ontario, California; her daughters, Kashiff (Nicholas) Lanier, Odessa, Texas, and D’Alton Houston and D’Jhyria Pendergrass, both of Statesboro, Ga.; one daughter-in-law, Inesha Pendergrass, New York; her father, Robert Pendergrass, Statesboro, Ga.; her sister, Robbie Mae Crump, Charlotte, N.C.; 22 grandchildren; three aunts, Dorothy Simmons and Patrica Hunter, both of Statesboro, Ga., and Mary Alice Smith, Dayton, Ohio; two uncles, Ocea Smith Jr., Clarksville, Tenn., and Myron McCollough, Youngstown, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service for Mrs. Tracy Pendergrass-Houston will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Hill's Mortuary, Inc., Chapel's Pond Side with Apostle Melvin Byrd officiating.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be enforced at the funeral home and graveside services. We ask that you adhere to all CDC guidelines.
